When Cassandra asked Apollo to be able to see the future, she came away cursed to know what will happen but unable to affect it in any way. While sitting in a bar in modern day, after thousands of years of frustration, it becomes clear that this curse was not some animosity from Apollo, but simply a consequence of the gift of prophecy.
