Nothing Could Keep Me Away

A short monologue about a divorced man doing whatever it takes to make sure his daughter has the happiest three-and-a-half-year birthday possible.
This was written in response to a competition prompt calling for a single male character in his 30-40's handling dual custody during the COVID-19 pandemic. It had to take place at a coffee shop, and involve a marble. Definitely an interesting challenge.
