Poor Dwinky the Elf is having trouble with his reindeer, which seems to have taken a time out on account of something that looks suspiciously like death. Pinkle, a service-elf from Rudolph's Reindeer Repair, has come to check out the situation, but is not able to provide much help. In fact, were it not for little Susie, Dwinky wouldn't have any chance of delivering the rest of his presents - an outcome with dire consequences from the boss the elves call "Mr. Claws".
