This short (25-30 minute) screenplay tells the story about a young boy, Thomas, at odds with his father over his position on slavery. Thomas has come to respect - almost as a second father - another man in town, Martin, who shares his abolitionist perspective. When Thomas' father kills Martin during a town hall debate-turned-violent, Thomas finds a way to cope his loss by dedicating his life to opening the minds of other kids towards a racism-free tomorrow.
