In the far future, the elite of society are able to transfer themselves into new bodies, however this "blessing" of immortality comes at a cost. After 1,400 years, Dasus is finally realizing what that cost is, and why he should have ended his life before he came to understand it. When his brother Telium shows up at his modest condo to show off his newest body, Dasus tries to explain the situation, but at a mere 800 years, his little brother can't understand what he's talking about.
